Hi and welcome to my website!

Let me start with sharing a bit about my own musical journey. This way you will have an idea about what you will find on this website.

As a starting musician, I mainly wanted to learn how to play existing songs on my guitar and piano. Because of this, I rushed forward and forgot to learn about an important part, music theory. I loved playing these instruments and I spent a lot of time playing the songs I adored but I did not understand much of the underlying theory.

After countless hours of self-studying, I finally discovered the circle of fifths and a whole new world opened up for me. Everything suddenly became quite clear.

From then on, I looked at music differently. I was able to write my own songs and could understand existing ones faster. Through that experience, I discovered a big gap between being a musician who understands music theory and can play almost anything and being a beginner who needs to learn songs by heart.

My ultimate goal is to give musicians (and musicians-to-be) a simple guideline that provides them with quick and concrete knowledge they can put into action on the spot.
